1. Advisory & Client Engagement
• Deliver insight-sharing sessions and advisory discussions based on research findings and written reports, clearly explaining complex analyses and implications.
• Respond to client briefs by shaping research frameworks, analysis structures and report narratives, rather than purely extracting data.
• Use pre-published Mintel Reports and research outputs to support client discussions, tailoring angles and focus to specific business questions.
• Present research-led insights to clients in a clear, structured and confident manner, ensuring findings are well understood and actionable.
• Work closely with Client Success and Commercial teams to support content-led advisory engagements, ensuring research outputs are aligned with client needs.
• Proactively communicate with clients on the most relevant research findings, market insights and report outputs for their business priorities.
2. Content & Insights Delivery
• Publish in-depth research reports combining market research and consumer insights, demonstrating Mintel’s expertise across consumer markets.
• Deliver Mintel Reports on time and to a consistently high quality standard, covering a range of categories and subject areas.
• Independently lead the end-to-end report workflow, including:
o research design and scoping
o questionnaire design and research framework development
o primary and secondary data collection
o data analysis, validation and interpretation
o insight synthesis, storyline development and report writing
• Gather and assess relevant primary and secondary data for each market, working closely with Research Directors to develop accurate market, company and segmentation insights.
• Translate complex data and research findings into clear, structured and insight-led written content, aligned with Mintel’s reporting standards.
3. Industry Engagement
• Monitor consumer, market and innovation trends, identifying the most relevant issues to explore through consumer research.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts and experts to deepen understanding of factors influencing consumer behavior, innovation and company strategy.
• Integrate market knowledge, research findings and external inputs into coherent insight narratives that strengthen report quality and relevance.
