Success in this role requires strong technical accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage and continuously improve processes while navigating complex business models, including wholesale, DTC, e-commerce, licensing, and intercompany transactions.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lease related components of the financial statements in alignment with corporate close timelines
  • Assist with the final review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables prior to submission
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting and External Reporting teams to support quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements

Controls, Compliance & Audit

  • Prepare and provide audit support documentation, including walkthroughs and testing support
  • Act as a primary accounting contact for internal and external audits and partner with appropriate teams to ensure completeness of supporting information
  • Identify control gaps or process inefficiencies and drive remediation and continuous improvement initiatives

Project Support & Testing

  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades and process improvement initiatives
  • Support testing efforts for accounting-related projects (e.g., system changes and new processes)
  • Validate outputs and ensure accounting accuracy following system or process changes
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance controls and reporting accuracy
  • Support process efficiency, data validation and financial insights utilizing data analytics tools or emerging technologies such as AI
