ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven and analytically rigorous Senior Analyst to join our EF-DS-ST team, part of DES Strategy, Governance and Transformation organization. This is a senior individual contributor role that plays a pivotal part in shaping strategic direction, enabling data-driven decision-making, and delivering high-impact insights across DES.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in strategy development and organizational transformation, experience in developing and applying strategic and process frameworks, strong data-visualization capabilities, and the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shape and advance strategic priorities aligned with the overall direction and ambition of DES.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decision-making.
• Lead high-priority strategic initiatives and workstreams from definition through implementation.
• Generate forward-looking perspectives on market, technology, and organizational developments relevant to DES.
• Guide the evaluation of strategic opportunities, choices, and business cases.
• Synthesize large datasets and qualitative inputs into concise, executive-ready presentations and strategy documents.
• Strengthen alignment and collaboration across leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert and thought partner for the team on strategy frameworks and analytical methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of strategy processes, tools, and templates within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, business transformation, or a comparable strategic role.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic analysis, planning, business case development, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proven experience supporting organizational transformation, including operating-model evolution, change enablement, and adoption.
• Demonstrated ability to design and apply strategy and process frameworks that establish clear priorities, decision rights, governance, and repeatable ways of working.
• Strong track record of partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions in complex organizational environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication capabilities.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and operate independently across different strategic priorities.
• Comfortable working across European time zones, with flexibility to collaborate with global stakeholders as needed.

Preferred:

• MBA or master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in digital, technology, life sciences, or enterprise transformation.
• Familiarity with strategy execution, portfolio management, or transformation frameworks.
• Exposure to global or matrixed organizational environments.
