Step into the role of Senior Analyst at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Review and investigation of suspicious customer transactions & payments. Ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and timely escalation where required.
Drive transaction monitoring controls, supervising end-to-end case management, and ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to SLAs.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Compliance, Risk, Tech, and Operations) to strengthen monitoring frameworks, controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
Identify trends and emerging risks, providing insights to senior stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance monitoring efficiency, effectiveness, and control environment.
Embed a strong risk and control culture and ensuring capability building in financial crime detection and investigation.
Desirable skills set:
Strong understanding of payments and client servicing.
Hands on exposure to Artificial Intelligence.
Analytical and investigative skills with high attention to detail and sound judgment.
Effective stakeholder management, communication, and ability to work across teams.
