Job Description

Our client is a statutory body set up by the HKSAR Government in 2001. They enable science and technology companies to nurture ideas, innovate and grow, supported by our R&D facilities, infrastructure, and services and programmes across five key technology clusters, they are currently seeking for a Senior Analyst to join their team.

Senior Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Build APIs, integrations, and services to support front-end features
• Collaborate with product managers, and front-end developers to develop high-quality solutions
• Provide support and maintenance of existing applications
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies for incorporation into the development process
• Define and document technical requirements and specifications
• Efficient, self-motivated and able to work independently and/or collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

• Diploma or above preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience. Full-stack development with a strong emphasis on proof-of-concept prototyping and MVP development is a definite advantage
• Proven experience in designing and developing web applications using technologies such as AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, typescript and MongoDB, Restful API development/integration and designing and implementing scalable, secure, and robust applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus
• Experience with Azure cloud architectures with knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate technical ideas to cross-functional teams.
