Lead medium‑ and long‑term airport development planning, translating capacity forecasts, operational demands, and regulatory constraints into structured master plans and phased development roadmaps. Ensure alignment between infrastructure growth, passenger flow requirements, and airside/landside operational readiness.
Oversee the planning and execution of airport capital projects, ensuring scope definition, cost control, scheduling discipline, and delivery governance. Monitor progress across multiple concurrent projects while enforcing engineering quality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure that all development and project activities are fully integrated with ongoing airport operations. Lead operational readiness planning, coordinating handovers, testing, commissioning, and stakeholder alignment to minimise disruption to live airport activities.
Act as the focal point for alignment with aviation regulators, planning authorities, and internal operational stakeholders on project approvals, compliance, and certification requirements. Manage interfaces between engineering, operations, safety, and external authorities.
Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and change impacts across the airport system. Ensure proactive mitigation of schedule conflicts, operational disruptions, and cost escalation risks.
Provide structured reporting to executive leadership on project status, capital risk exposure, milestone achievement, budget performance, and upcoming decision points. Enable informed leadership decision‑making through transparent, data‑supported reporting.
Strong understanding of airport master planning, capacity modelling, and development phasing required to support safe and efficient airport growth.
Proven knowledge of managing capital works in live airport settings, balancing delivery urgency with safety and operational continuity.
Expertise in planning commissioning, testing, and handover of infrastructure assets into operational airport environments.
Sound understanding of regulatory approval processes, aviation authority requirements, and certification obligations associated with airport projects.
Ability to manage complex coordination across engineering, operations, safety, regulators, and executive leadership.
