Senior Air Conditioning Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Maintenance and Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level engineer who is looking to take the next step toward a managerial role within the next 5 years.

The company is well-established and prides itself on providing a professional, customer-focused service to both commercial and private clients. Due to bringing their AC Division that was originally outsourced in house they are in need of a dependable, proactive engineer who can contribute to the success and future development of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and installation of air conditioning systems.
• Replace or upgrade units when necessary to maintain performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair faults on various systems, including splits, VRFs, and AHUs.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the internal administration team.
• Uphold the company’s professional reputation by delivering excellent customer service.
• Support company's compliance with all relevant professional and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 or higher in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (essential)
• F-Gas certification (essential)
• ACRIB registration (desirable)
• Strong electrical knowledge
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in installation and maintenance
• Good working knowledge of various air conditioning systems and manufacturers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic about career development
