About the Role

As our AI Validation Expert, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our artificial intelligence systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You'll work with cutting-edge technology while establishing best practices that drive our AI governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate AI systems for production deployment, collaborating with senior data scientists
• Perform thorough analysis of AI systems to ensure adherence to technical and safety best practices
• Develop and implement comprehensive guidelines and standards for AI validation
• Coordinate and oversee the validation process across all AI systems in our organization
• Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies for AI implementations
• Stay current with emerging trends and methodologies in AI validation and governance

About You

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who combines technical expertise with critical thinking. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a passion for ensuring AI systems are not only powerful but also reliable and responsibly deployed.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field
• Proficiency in Python and/or other programming languages
• Solid knowledge of machine learning, Generative AI or Natural Language Processing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

These are additional nice to haves:

• Experience with AI governance frameworks or validation methodologies
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to AI systems
• Familiarity with model documentation standards
• Experience in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, etc.)
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across multiple teams

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,400 and EUR 5,700 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:​

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, ​
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​
