Job Description

About the Role

Fortegra is seeking a Senior AI Marketing Specialist to help explore, test, and operationalize artificial intelligence across our marketing function. Reporting to the Manager, Performance Marketing, this role focuses on how AI is changing the way Fortegra and its brands are discovered in search, how our campaigns are structured and executed, and how our marketing team works day to day, and on turning that exploration into repeatable, reliable practice for the team.

Key projects include leading our LLM and AI search visibility efforts (how Fortegra and its brands appear in AI-driven search and answer engines), supporting AI integration across our digital platforms, and contributing to campaign structuring that keeps creative and content execution consistent and efficient. The day-to-day work is workflow-oriented: identifying where AI can remove friction, building the frameworks and documentation that make AI-assisted work dependable, and helping the broader marketing team adopt what works.

This is a hands-on, specialist role for someone who has already delivered measurable wins using AI in marketing and is ready to deepen that focus: a senior associate who comes in with ideas, proactively seeks out opportunities for improvement, and stays disciplined about data security, compliance, and responsible AI use.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead AI search visibility (AEO/GEO) initiatives in partnership with our digital agency: monitor and benchmark how Fortegra and its subsidiary brands surface in LLM-driven search and answer engines, identify content and structural gaps, and execute optimizations to improve AI discoverability.
  • Support AI-assisted SEO and content optimization efforts, including research, content audits, and CMS updates tied to digital performance and campaign initiatives.
  • Identify repetitive or high-friction marketing workflows and pilot AI-enabled solutions to streamline them, documenting outcomes and building repeatable processes the team can adopt.
  • Build and maintain prompt frameworks, reusable AI workflows, and internal documentation that improve the consistency, quality, and speed of AI-assisted marketing output.
  • Support AI integration across marketing's digital platforms (websites, CMS, and analytics), testing new AI-enabled features and recommending where they add value.
  • Assist with campaign structuring as part of performance marketing efforts, helping align creative and content execution for consistency and efficiency through AI-supported processes.
  • Run structured pilots of emerging AI tools, evaluate results against defined criteria, and make adoption recommendations grounded in productivity, quality, and risk considerations.
  • Apply and help uphold standards for data security, compliance, and responsible AI use in all AI-assisted work.
  • The above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that an incumbent may be expected or asked to perform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, SEO/content marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., LLM-based assistants, AI-assisted research and writing tools, workflow automation) in marketing or content work, including prompt development and evaluating output quality.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and familiarity with how AI-driven search and answer engines are changing content discoverability.
  • Experience with website CMS platforms and web analytics tools such as GA4.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to document processes clearly and translate technical findings into practical recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and pilots.
  • Comfort experimenting with new technologies, including testing tools independently and learning through structured trial and evaluation.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.

Additional Information

Full benefit package including medical, dental, life, vision, company paid short/long term disability, 401(k), tuition assistance and more.

The anticipated salary for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, based upon qualifications and experience.
