About the role:
As SeniorAI Engineer you will focus on building and optimizing AI components and pipelines for Sherpany’s products. This role involves hands-on development, experimentation with advanced AI techniques, and close collaboration with software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver practical, high-quality AI solutions aligned with business goals.

What you’ll do:

• build and optimize AI components and pipelines for Sherpany’s products

• experiment with advanced AI techniques to deliver innovative features

• integrate AI solutions seamlessly with product and engineering teams

• ensure performance, scalability, and security in AI workflows

• work with on-prem AI deployments and optimize infrastructure for reliability and compliance

• stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and propose improvements

• mentor junior engineers and share best practices

What you bring:

• 4+ years in AI/ML engineering with hands-on experience in production environments

• strong Python skills and proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)

• knowledge of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)

• experience with on-prem AI deployments is a strong plus.

• experience with containerization (Docker) and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, Git)

• familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements

• experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus for future initiatives
