The Reusable AI team is an essential component of the AI Factory program at P&G, focused on providing scalable Agentic, AI and API solutions that enhance various internal initiatives and empower data scientists with reusable tools and services. We are looking for a technical lead for the Reusable AI team within the Senior AI Engineering community. As a Senior AI Engineer, and as a Technical Lead for Reusable AI you will

- Lead the technical and architectural decisions for the Reusable AI team, in particular for what concerns the development of services versus reusable components, and external contributions,
- Collaborate closely with the project manager to clearly understand user needs, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business requirements,
- Oversee the development and infrastructure of AI services, such as a Translation service, and provide data scientists with templates to streamline the creation of AI processing pipelines,
- Engage with the IPA team to utilize their API backend capabilities effectively, and collaborate with the GenAI team to integrate and consolidate inherited services for enhanced functionality,
- Assess the technical capacity needed for the team’s projects, ensuring that resources and skills align with project demands,
- Focus on the economic sustainability of the products developed by the team, evaluating cost-effectiveness and long-term viability,
- Implement metrics to measure the adoption of products, gathering insights to identify areas for improvement and strategic focus in future developments.


More generally, as a Senior AI Engineer, you will:

- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, facilitating efficient deployment processes and ensuring high-quality code delivery,
Develop and maintain robust Python code to support algorithmic processing, AI functionalities, and ETL pipelines across cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure ML, Azure Databricks, Google Vertex AI, Google Cloud Run, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps,
- Ensure compliance with the network, firewall, and security specifications required within the P&G cloud environment, safeguarding data and operations,
- Design innovative code solutions that address specific challenges, fostering regular discussions within the team to promote collaboration and creativity,
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure that the software developed is compatible with the constraints of the cloud infrastructure in use,
- Work with the Customer Solutions Engineering team to build a user experience that delivers significant value to AI Factory users, focusing on usability and functionality,
- Actively participate in a lightweight SCRUM team, integrating with other teams and external partners through the Scaled Agile Framework, to enhance project agility and responsiveness.

Job Qualifications

  • Very good Python development skills,

  • Knowledge of at least one cloud environment (Azure/GCP/AWS),

  • Good knowledge of CI/CD processes (not necessarily on GitHub),

  • Practical experience with test-driven development,

  • Experience in using Docker,

  • Experience in Kubernetes (as an applications developer) is a plus.
