Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Myers, FL 33916Job Category: AdministrativeJuniper is Growing! We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer rivers for our IT team. The Senior AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that support business operations, automation, and data-driven decision making across the organization. This role partners with cross-functional teams to translate operational challenges and business needs into scalable AI systems while providing technical leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s AI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
•    Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning models that solve complex business challenges and support operational efficiency.
•    Architect scalable AI systems and model architectures using programming languages and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
•    Design and manage end-to-end machine learning pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
•    Optimize algorithms and models through experimentation, validation, and tuning to improve performance, accuracy, and scalability.
•    Work with large structured and unstructured datasets to train, evaluate, and refine machine learning models.
•    Apply advanced AI techniques including natural language processing, predictive modeling, computer vision, and generative AI where appropriate.
•    Deploy and integrate AI models into production environments and enterprise systems using modern cloud infrastructure.
•    Implement monitoring and lifecycle management practices to track model performance, reliability, and drift in production environments.
•    Ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational technology standards and governance practices.
•    Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
•    Provide technical leadership in AI architecture, model selection, development standards, and best practices.
•    Stay current on emerging AI technologies and evaluate tools and frameworks that improve AI capabilities.
•    Follow, promote, and enforce all labor laws, safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and safety hazards and/or incidents.
Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field required; advanced degree preferred.
•    Minimum of 5+ years of experience developing software solutions with at least 3 years focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics applications.
•    Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying AI or machine learning models in production environments.
•    Demonstrated proficiency with programming languages and AI frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and related technologies, including building and maintaining machine learning pipelines from data preparation through model deployment.
•    Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and translate technical findings into actionable insights, with experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise applications, APIs, or operational systems.
•    Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud to support model training, deployment, and scalability; experience mentoring or providing technical guidance in AI or software development environments preferred.
