Are you an AI builder who can vibe code at the speed of thought? Do you live and breathe autonomous agents, process optimisation, and the bleeding edge of LLM capabilities?

At Kogan.com, we're looking for an elite AI Engineer to build with us and embed AI across the business. Reporting directly to the CEO and CTO, you'll have a unique mandate: work on top-priority special projects at the executive level, while partnering with every department to ruthlessly optimise how we operate.

We aren't looking for someone who can write ChatGPT prompts. We need a builder who can deploy highly autonomous agents (like OpenClaw, n8n and Make.com) securely. If you can build multi-agent systems and want to do it inside a mature, AI-forward business that's pioneering Australian e-commerce, we want you on the team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with departments across Kogan.com to build AI solutions that make their work faster and get things shipped quickly.
• Working one-on-one with the CEO/CTO on high-impact, special projects to give us an unfair competitive advantage.
• Building and shipping production-ready software with AI-assisted "vibe coding," from prototype to live in days if not hours.
• Standing up autonomous agents (OpenClaw, LangGraph, CrewAI) to automate complex workflows for teams.
• Wiring in Human-in-the-Loop checkpoints so agents have the right guardrails and approval gates before they touch anything high-stakes in production.
• Plugging agents securely into our e-commerce stack, ERPs, CRM, and internal databases, and making sure the connections remain effective.

What you'll need:

You move fast and get things done. You don't wait for permission, you find the fastest path to a working solution and take it.
You've built and shipped real software, not just prototypes. Solid grounding in systems architecture and wiring APIs together.
You've deployed multi-agent setups and workflow automations in production (OpenClaw, n8n, Make.com, CrewAI), not just read about them.
You know how to lock agents down: containerisation, permission allowlists, sandboxing, and protecting enterprise data from prompt injection.
You watch the token bill. You know how to keep LLM API costs down and can optimise usage without being told to.
You're three steps ahead on AI. Not because it's your job, because you can't help it.
