Senior AI Engineer (RAG / Azure / AKS)

Location: Belgium (hybrid)
Contract: Freelance or permanent (via ITproposal)

Project

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build an enterprise RAG-based AI search platform (multilingual, thousands of users) within an AI Center of Excellence. You will help turn architecture into a scalable production solution.

Role

• 
  Build end-to-end RAG pipelines (retrieval, reranking, LLM orchestration)
• 
  Set up ingestion (CMS/DMS, chunking, embeddings)
• 
  Implement security (ACLs) and guardrails
• 
  Develop evaluation and monitoring
• 
  Deploy via Terraform + Helm (AKS)
• 
  Support optimization during early run phase

Tech Stack

Azure (OpenAI, API Management), AKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, vector databases

Profile

• 
  Experience with RAG / LLM solutions
• 
  Strong in Azure & Kubernetes
• 
  Experience with IaC and CI/CD
