As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a leading role in designing, building, and deploying machine learning and AI solutions that help organizations transform how they use data. You'll work as part of our Data & AI community, alongside data scientists, data engineers, and data architects – bringing deep expertise in true AI engineering: making models work in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. In addition to hands-on technical work, you will mentor peers, shape technical direction, and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end AI solutions, from prototyping to production deployment.

• Architect and build LLM-powered applications and agentic systems integrated into real business processes and systems.

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to turn models into robust, scalable products.

• Apply and champion MLOps practices to ensure reproducibility, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Work with modern cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and open-source AI frameworks.

• Stay ahead of the fast-evolving AI landscape and bring that insight into client projects and internal capability building.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a seasoned Senior AI Engineer who has built and led real AI solutions – beyond using APIs or experimenting with models. We hope you recognize yourself in most of these:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, with a deep understanding of key ML concepts such as classification, regression, NLP, and generative AI.

• Experience of building and delivering production-grade LLM and agentic applications, incl. evaluation, monitoring, and scaling.

• Deep knowledge of core LLM concepts e.g. tokenization, RAG, CoT, reasoning models, memory, fine-tuning, tool use, and self-correction.

• Strong hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments.

• Ability to design and maintain data pipelines, ensuring model reliability and performance in production.

• Experience guiding technical teams and taking ownership of architectural decisions.

• Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of developments in AI and apply them responsibly.

• Excellent communication and consulting skills — able to guide stakeholders, create understanding, and inspire confidence around AI capabilities.

• Fluent in Finnish and English.
