  • Implement observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational excellence practices to improve platform reliability and performance.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts for complex cloud infrastructure, deployment, and security issues.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to modernize application deployment architectures and promote cloud-native engineering practices.

  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including Zero Trust, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), secrets management, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience implementing security tooling and controls within automated delivery pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, incident management, and platform reliability practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically requires 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or related technical disciplines.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting production workloads in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience building and operating enterprise-scale CI/CD platforms and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience implementing cloud security controls and DevSecOps practices within regulated or security-conscious environments preferred.
