Our Technology groups develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations groups which are core to the success of the Markets business and has significant impact across the lifecycle of a Trade by providing innovative products and solutions. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including product aligned Middle Office groups, Settlements, Margin, Asset Servicing, Listed Derivative & Commodities Operations and external street partners. We support an extensive range of Capital Markets products and services including Fixed Income (FX, Rates, Credit, Muni, Cash and Derivatives) where Citi is consistently a dominant top 3 player in the market, Equity (Cash, Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, Futures, Listed Derivatives, FXPB) where Citi has a significant growth program to continue to build out its capabilities and services; and Syndicates where we support both FI and EQ new issues and IPOs. ML Solutions team within Markets OPS Technology is dedicated to developing solutions using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Generative AI. This team is a leader in creating new ideas, innovative technology solutions, and ground-breaking solutions for Markets Operations and Other Line of Businesses. We work closely with our clients and business partners to progress solutions from ideation to production by leveraging the entrepreneurial spirit and technological excellence.

The ML Solutions team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior AI Delivery Manager (C14) to direct the delivery and portfolio management of our group's ambitious AI initiatives. This senior role will orchestrate the Book of Work, coordinate cross-functional engineering and data science teams, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and ensure strict compliance with Citi's risk, information security, and model governance policies to deploy secure AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in program/project management with a strong focus on delivering complex AI/ML and Generative AI projects, with a proven track record of taking AI models and solutions from concept to production in an enterprise setting. In this role, you will work in close partnership with the Data Science & AI – Technical Group Manager (who manages the development team) and Product leads to progress solutions from ideation to production. You must possess a deep understanding of the AI-based Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), strong stakeholder management skills, and exceptional program management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Delivery and Portfolio Management: Direct the delivery of AI initiatives, orchestrating the Book of Work, managing project timelines, budgets, and commitment effectively to ensure timely and successful deployment.
• Partner in Product Development (AI-PDLC): Assist in product development by applying deep knowledge of the AI-based Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC). Collaborate with product leads to define product roadmaps, release plans, and delivery milestones.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work in close partnership with the AI – Technical Group Manager, Development Team and Product leads to coordinate cross-functional engineering, data science, and business teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
• Stakeholder and Program Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and clients. Provide transparent, high-quality reporting on program status, risks, dependencies, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Risk, Compliance, and Model Governance: Ensure all AI initiatives strictly comply with Citi's risk, information security, and model governance policies (including Model Risk Management - MRM). Ensure secure, ethical, and compliant deployment of AI solutions.
• Drive Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the delivery team. Identify opportunities to optimize delivery processes, streamline workflows, and accelerate time-to-market.

Delivery Excellence & Best Practices

• Drive the adoption of modern delivery and engineering ways of working, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD, tailored specifically for AI/ML workflows.
• Advocate for robust testing, validation, and continuous monitoring of AI models to ensure software and model reliability.
• Apply structured project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to track progress, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to secure deployment practices, performing vulnerability assessments and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate effectively in agile environments, fostering a culture of continuous delivery, feedback, and improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in program/project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex AI/ML and Generative AI projects in a corporate setting.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional delivery teams or large-scale technology programs.
• Deep understanding of AI-based Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives, business partners, and technical teams.
• Prior experience in delivering AI projects from concept to production, utilizing traditional AI, generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, LangChain, Google ADK, Vector Databases, RAG techniques) to effectively communicate with technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of risk, compliance, and model governance policies within the financial industry (experience with Citi's internal policies is a major plus).
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with a demonstrated ability to tackle open-ended problems and drive projects to completion.

Education

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) or Agile (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) are highly desirable.
