About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Data Scientist to develop and implement machine learning solutions that address business challenges and deliver measurable value.

In this role, you will focus on developing an early warning solution to identify potential risks and performance issues in projects. You will also contribute to establishing a scalable machine learning foundation within a Microsoft Azure environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data science and machine learning with the ability to understand business processes, translate complex challenges into analytical solutions, and collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement machine learning solutions to support early risk detection and proactive decision-making.
• Understand business processes and translate business challenges into measurable indicators, predictive models, and actionable insights.
• Design and develop end-to-end data science solutions, including data pipelines, machine learning models, business logic, visualizations, and deployment.
• Build and evaluate proofs of concept for new AI and machine learning use cases.
• Assess potential solutions and support the transition of successful proofs of concept into production.
• Contribute to the design and development of a scalable machine learning platform using Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Establish and improve machine learning foundations, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Work closely with data and analytics teams to promote the adoption of machine learning and advanced analytics.
• Ensure data quality, model reliability, scalability, and maintainability across developed solutions.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with hands-on experience applying machine learning to real-world business problems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Good understanding of databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Experience in independent data exploration, data validation, and visualization.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, from experimentation and model development to deployment.
• Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
