REQ13555 Senior AI & Data Scientist (Open)

This role involves in designing and deployment of state-of-the-art AI architectures, including transformers, LLMs, GANs, and reinforcement learning systems, in production-grade environments. The position requires technical mastery, leadership in complex projects, and collaboration with IT and business units to deliver measurable business outcomes, ensuring insights derived from AI pipelines are scalable, explainable, and reliable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead design and deployment of advanced models including transformers, LLMs, GANs, VAEs, and reinforcement learning.
• Develop and deploy predictive and statistical models to extract insights from structured/unstructured datasets.
• Apply neural network architectures (transformers, CNNs, RNNs, LLMs) for natural language and sequential data.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and dimensionality reduction for insight generation.
• Use advanced optimization and hyperparameter tuning methods to enhance model accuracy.
• Implement basic MLOps practices (model validation, deployment, monitoring pipelines).
• Ensure AI solutions are developed in compliance with company’s IP and governance policies.
• Deliver insightful results that assist with achieving company’s vision
• Stay tuned in market trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify revenue growth opportunities and operational improvements

Deployment and adoption of insight-driven AI models. Accuracy, reliability, and scalability of predictive pipelines. Effectiveness of mentoring and knowledge transfer. Successful deployment and adoption of advanced analytics, AI/ML applications and LLM-powered solutions across business units. Develops and maintains constructive relationships with internal and external customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• Currently worked at a company or institution heavily involved in data science or AI projects
• Experience in data science, machine learning, or AI Experience with model prototyping, data preparation, and exploratory analysis
• Proven track record of building and deploying ML/AI models that create business value.
• Experience contributing to cross-functional projects involving IT and business teams.
• Exposure to business-focused analytics projects
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospitality or customer-centric industries

Education

• Degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
• Preference is given to candidates with a post graduate degree from a major, accredited institution

Skills / Competencies

• Hands-on experience with Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in transformer architectures and LLM fine-tuning.
• Experience with GANs, VAEs, and reinforcement learning.
• Expertise in feature engineering and advanced hyperparameter optimization.
• Operationalizing AI models with MLOps frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical results into business insights.
• Good communication and collaboration skills across technical and business domains.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
