Job Role

The Senior AI Consulting Advisor will lead strategic consulting engagements focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, data strategy, and Digital Transformation (DX) for financial institutions. This position bridges business strategy with technical implementation by helping enterprise clients design AI roadmaps, governance frameworks, and organization-wide AI capabilities.

The role involves working closely with executive stakeholders, project teams, AI engineers, and data specialists to deliver end-to-end consulting services while driving business innovation, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead AI, Generative AI, and Digital Transformation consulting projects for enterprise and financial services clients.
• 
  Design AI strategies, enterprise roadmaps, governance frameworks, and data utilization models aligned with business objectives.
• 
  Establish and enhance AI Centers of Excellence (CoE), governance structures, and organizational AI capabilities.
• 
  Advise clients on AI governance, AI ethics, regulatory compliance, model risk management, and responsible AI implementation.
• 
  Bridge communication between executive stakeholders, business teams, and technical specialists to ensure successful project execution.
• 
  Drive the adoption of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-powered business transformation initiatives.
• 
  Lead project planning, execution, stakeholder management, and consulting team delivery.
• 
  Present strategic recommendations and business insights to executive leadership while supporting long-term client relationships.

Candidate Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience in AI Consulting, Digital Transformation (DX), Data Consulting, or enterprise AI implementation projects.
• 
  Proven experience leading consulting engagements or managing project teams.
• 
  Experience working with banking, insurance, securities, asset management, or other financial institutions is highly preferred.
• 
  Strong understanding of AI strategy, AI governance, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and enterprise AI adoption.
• 
  Practical knowledge of Python, SQL, data analytics, or AI-related technologies is advantageous.
• 
  Strong consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• 
  Business-level Japanese proficiency is mandatory.
• 
  Professional English communication skills are preferred.
• 
  Eligible to work in Japan or qualified for visa sponsorship.
