Our Advisory Domain is hiring a Senior AI Architect. Someone who translates client needs into technical solutions and provides technical advice (ex. technology choices, reference architectures, technical roadmapping…).

THE IMPACT YOU MAKE

You are more than an architect. You are a strategic advisor and a designer in one.

• Architect software components, cloud infrastructures, and complex migrations (e.g., monolith to microservices, legacy to cloud, or integrating cutting-edge GenAI/Agentic systems) with a focus on security, reliability, scalability, and testability.
• Take actively part in the discovery phase and roadmapping. Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to plan, scope, and define projects so high-quality solutions can be delivered.
• Explore and experiment with cutting-edge tools and frameworks.
• Lead regular technical and C-level discussions with customers. Translate complex business challenges into clear, high-level technical visions and roadmaps.

Note that ML6 is not an outsourcing firm, our agents work on projects together with a team of colleagues where autonomy is highly valued.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Extensive experience in the tech industry (typically 8–10 years), with at least 4–5 years actively designing, modeling, and making critical decisions regarding solution architecture and utilized infrastructure
• Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• A rock-solid understanding of modern architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Design, Serverless, Lambda/Kappa, and designing for failure)
• Demonstrable experience developing (Gen)AI solutions and AI transformations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and local language proficiency depending on office location being Dutch and/or German)
• You can comfortably talk strategy with a CTO and drill down into tactical engineering solutions with the team
• You thrive in dynamic environments and can translate high-level uncertainty into clear, pragmatic release strategies (whether staged, iterative, or phased modernizations).
