As the Senior Agile Team Lead you will support various business units as you facilitate ongoing agile maturity. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team(s) maintain agile values and principles while recommending practices that focus on continuous improvement and strategic business outcomes. You will lead collaborative efforts across all roles and functions to create and maintain the conditions that allow the team(s) to be successful in fulfilling their commitments.

How you will create impact:

  • Coaching, training and developing team members in Agile best practices and providing timely feedback to achieve department objectives.
  • Fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency with business units and the leadership team(s) to identifying, mitigate and resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Acting as a thought leader to develop, innovate and evolve Agile practices, including building knowledge of relevant products, services and processes to facilitate continuous improvement through empirical approaches.
  • Participating in end-to-end program level planning, coordinating release activities and communicating inter-dependencies to deliver on work commitments.
  • Facilitating team meetings to manage planning activities, ensure a prioritized backlog and prepare key team metrics to maintain target release schedules and plans.

To join our team:

  • You have three years of experience providing agile support to functional teams.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • You have the ScrumMaster (CSM) certification or a related agile accreditation.
  • You have strong knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies and techniques.
  • You have working knowledge of operational and governance principles.

Salary information

Expected salary/hourly range $91,058 - $141,000+

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
