We are now looking for a new Senior Agile Coach for SW Projects to join our dynamic team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania!

As a Senior Agile Coach for Software Projects you will guide multiple software engineering teams in adopting and maturing Agile practices to improve delivery predictability, product quality, team collaboration, and alignment with business objectives. This role works with engineering teams, product owners, and leadership across several software platforms to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and with high technical and security standards.

What kind of work will you be doing?

Agile Enablement & Coaching

  • Provide hands‑on coaching to teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and engineering managers to improve Agile mindset, flow, and execution.
  • Train teams and leaders in Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Guide teams in building and maintaining effective backlogs, refining stories, and defining clear acceptance criteria.

Multi‑Project Coordination & Delivery Support

  • Coordinate Agile ceremonies across teams and ensure consistent execution (planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily scrums).
  • Oversee alignment across multiple projects following a shared roadmap; manage interdependencies and critical‑path activities.
  • Support Product Owners in prioritization and scope definition to achieve business outcomes.

Governance, Tracking & Reporting

  • Ensure transparency through dashboards, status updates, and communication to leadership and steering committees.
  • Maintain documentation such as charters, resource plans, risk and issue logs, and test results.
  • Drive continuous improvement in metrics, reporting processes, and Agile PMO practices.

Risk, Dependency & Change Management

  • Monitor project risks and partner with teams to develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage scope changes and assess impact on delivery timelines and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate cross-team communication to reduce bottlenecks and escalations.

Security & SDLC Alignment

  • Collaborate with security engineering and development teams to embed secure SDLC practices.

What will make you successful?

  • BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline.
  • Strong experience coaching software development teams in Agile frameworks.
  • 5+ years experience managing or supporting software engineering projects.
  • Ability to adapt project management tools and processes to best serve business objectives.
  • Exposure to SAFe or multi‑team agile coordination.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence technical staff.
  • Ability to work across multiple cross‑functional teams with diverse maturity levels.

Technical & SDLC Knowledge

  • Familiarity with SDLC, backlog management, and Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, capacity).
  • Familiarity with secure development practices and vulnerability management.

Domain & Platform Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Experience in large global engineering organizations.
  • Understanding of the data center and telecom industries.
  • Experience with systems involving data streaming, alerting, visualization, reporting, and scaling across On‑Prem to Cloud implementations (preferred, not required).
