Job Description

Are you passionate about building strategic partnerships in the healthcare industry and turning sustainability and reliability needs into real growth opportunities? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.

As our new Senior Aftermarket Sales Engineer, Healthcare, you'll be developing and executing account strategies for major healthcare operators, and management companies that accelerate Grundfos aftermarket growth across replacement, retrofit, service, and digital solutions. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Aftermarket Sales, Commercial Building Services Americas team, you'll create impact by converting customer sustainability, reliability, and lifecycle needs into qualified opportunities that deliver profitable sales growth and strengthen Grundfos's position as a preferred partner in the healthcare sector.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Build and execute strategic account plans for priority healthcare customers, including stakeholder maps, opportunity pipelines, and measurable growth actions
  • Identify, qualify, and advance replacement, retrofit, service agreement, energy optimization, and digital-service opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Establish long-term relationships with hotel owners, operators, engineering teams, and procurement leaders; pursue framework agreements and preferred-supplier status
  • Coordinate with sales, service, application engineering, marketing, pricing, and channel partners to develop technically sound, commercially competitive proposals

Represent Grundfos at healthcare conferences, associations, and customer events; capture market insight and translate it into actionable growth priorities

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a consultative, relationship-driven sales professional with deep experience in commercial building systems and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a matrixed environment. We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 5–7 years of consultative sales, key account management, or aftermarket experience in commercial buildings, HVAC, pumps, rotating equipment, or water systems
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic accounts, build executive-level relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with CRM, ERP, Microsoft 365, and product-selection or sizing tools
  • Remote role, must reside in close proximity to a major metropolitan airport

It's a plus if you also:

  • Working knowledge of pumps, hydronic systems, controls, service, maintenance, and lifecycle-value concepts
  • Experience with healthcare industry operators, hotel management companies, or large-portfolio facility programs
  • Track record of securing framework agreements or preferred-supplier arrangements across multi-site customers

You'll also be available for travelling up to 125 days per year.

Why you'll love working here

  • Benefits available include medical, vision, dental, life insurance, and any leave required under federal, state, or local law, as applicable, such as leave under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
  • Other compensation provided may include (overtime if applicable), employee stock purchase programs, merit increases, 401(k) matching, (commission if applicable), bonuses, PTO/Vacation, and paid holidays.
  • Three days’ additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.
  • The salary range for this position is 83,300.00-132,830.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.
