Parsons is seeking a highly skilledSr. Aerospace Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineerto join our team! In this role, you will support our Department of Defense (DoD) customers on a variety of challenging modeling, simulation, and system analysis projects that contribute to the US intelligence community and weapons system development.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Analyze and model all aspects of missile weapon systems, including:

    • Flight dynamics

    • Traditional and advanced navigation and communications systems

    • Onboard sensors

    • Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) systems

    • Radar sensor systems

    • Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) sensors

  • Typical tasks include:

    • System analysis and model definition

    • Algorithm development and characterization

    • Coding and implementing models

    • Using simulations to conduct studies and report results

    • Developing and maintaining digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulation architectures

Required Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must have an active Secret clearanceand be able to obtain/maintain aTop Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or another STEM fieldand8+ years of professional experience, OR

  • Master’s degreeand5+ years of experience, OR

  • Ph.D.and2+ years of experience

  • Experience with 6-DoF simulation architectures, including their use in Monte Carlo and parametric simulation study design and analysis

  • Proficiency in C++, Python, Simulink, or a similar programming language

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with a highly technical team, including classified customers

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience with OMEGA, ITASE, Sonic, or TMAP models

  • Experience with software development in a DevSecOps environment, including configuration control systems such as Git
