Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Contract Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting across our growing portfolio of engineering, technical/non-technical, and program management teams. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent within the aerospace, defense, and space systems sectors.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in both technical and non-technical recruiting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is skilled at partnering with hiring managers to deliver high-quality talent.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across engineering, program management, and corporate functions (e.g., finance, supply chain, manufacturing, business development)
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other sourcing tools
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of cleared and non-cleared technical talent
  • Manage candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies, including those related to government contracting
  • Track and report recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline health, and hiring timeline
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience / combined education)
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Proven experience recruiting for technical roles such as electrical, systems, mechanical, and software engineering
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments
  • Familiarity with DoD, NASA, or space systems programs
