Step into a pivotal role as Senior Advisor, Strategic Programs at Transport for NSW, where you’ll help shape strategic initiatives that influence the future of transport across the state. This is your chance to work on complex programs, tackle emerging issues, and make a real impact.
You will:
• Lead the development and management of strategic programs aligned with organisational goals.
• Monitor progress, track milestones, and provide expert advice to senior leaders.
• Analyse and respond to emerging strategic issues, developing mitigation strategies.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Contribute to policy and strategy development, aligning with best practice and industry standards.
• Establish reporting frameworks and use data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
• Identify and manage risks, ensuring programs stay on track and aligned with priorities.

About you

You have:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience managing complex programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you know how to influence and negotiate.
• Proven experience in strategic program and issues management within a large organisation.
• Ability to think long-term and make decisions that align with organisational priorities.
• Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing circumstances.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Tech-savvy and confident using tools to improve efficiency and collaboration.
