Job Description

About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As a Senior Advisor you will lead complex organisational design and change initiatives across ACC. Working as part of the Organisational Design team, you will partner closely with leaders to shape future-state structures, roles and ways of working, and support successful implementation of change.

This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will provide expert advice throughout the change lifecycle, from discovery and design through to consultation, implementation and transition. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help leaders understand change impacts, develop engagement approaches, manage risks, and support their teams through periods of change while ensuring a consistent and positive people experience.

The appointing salary for this role is $138,573 – $152,430 based on experience ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You're an experienced change practitioner who enjoys solving complex problems and helping leaders navigate change with confidence. You bring strong end-to-end change management experience, from design and consultation through to implementation and embedding.

You build trusted relationships quickly, communicate clearly, and are comfortable influencing at all levels of the organisation. You're naturally curious, quick to understand new environments, and able to identify where you can add value from the outset.

You'll also bring:

  • Proven experience leading organisational change in complex environments.
  • Strong organisational design capability, with a desire to deepen your expertise in this area.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Sound understanding of change management, HR and employment relations processes.
  • Strong data management and spreadsheet skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.

  • Strong judgement, problem-solving skills and a people-centred approach.
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share knowledge and support others.
