About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
We are looking for an experienced Senior Organisational Design Advisor to make a difference in this large and varied organisation. As the Senior Advisor you will lead key organisational change projects or pieces of work using your expertise in organisational design.
Working as part of the Organisational Design team, the Senior Advisor partners closely with leaders to successfully deliver organisational change. This is a hands-on role in a supportive and collaborative team. You would work as a trusted advisor to ensure consistency and validity of organisational design practices while creating a seamless people experience.
This is a permanent, full time role, ideally based in Wellington.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring sound understanding of organisational design and proven experience delivering meaningful change. You enjoy thinking strategically, communicating clearly with a wide range of audiences, and building strong, trusted relationships across ACC. Your attention to detail will support you as you work across the full organisational design lifecycle from assessment, organisation and role design, through to shaping ways of working and supporting consultation and engagement, helping teams navigate change with confidence.
You'll also bring:
Experience leading organisational design, change and consultation processes.
A sound understanding of HR and ER requirements and processes.
A deep understanding of organisational design process and change methodology.
Demonstrated ability in the gathering, analysis and presentation of information for organisational design models and other communication materials.
Excellent people skills with the ability to influence and lead people to deliver the very best.
Flexibility and a positive attitude, you’re a collaborative team player who enjoys working alongside others and willing to pitch in where needed.
The ability to coach and mentor others to develop skills and capabilities within the team.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $117,787 and $166,288 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% contribution required by you, optional life and income protection insurance, and the flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time, ensuring your financial security now and in retirement.
