About The Role
An opportunity exists for a Senior Advisor- Land to support the Land and Tenements team, based in the Murray Basin, with regular travel to sites in Western Victoria and southwest NSW.
Reporting to the Principal Advisor – Land, this role involves securing land access and supporting the management of a ~$150 million rural and residential property portfolio in Australia.
Key role responsibilities include:
Providing data-driven analysis and making decisions that capture maximum commercial, social and environmental value for Iluka’s shareholders and stakeholders
Securing land access through negotiation with landowners and key stakeholders
Managing land and stakeholder related risks for the property portfolio and land access leases
Improve internal processes, systems and reporting to manage the property portfolio and land access leases
Build and maintain strong relationships with site operations, functional teams, external stakeholders and wider industry network
About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Minimum five years experience or relevant qualifications in environmental engineering, natural resource management, property and contract management, or agronomy
Demonstrated track record of delivering outcomes
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to work effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective integration of information
Strategic planning capability and business case development
Previous experience in land access negotiations, property management and acquisitions; and
Experience working on related regulatory approvals in NSW and Victoria is advantageous
Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) Mapping Software is advantageous
