What you'll achieve

In this position as Senior Advisor, Geopolitical Intelligence, you will lead the production of geopolitical updates, forecasts, and risk assessments that translate macro-level geopolitical developments into concrete consequences for Dell's global supply chain. You will manage and maintain the team's indicators and warnings (I&W), drafting rapid alerts and detailed impact assessments under deadline-driven production cycles . Operating within a flat team structure, you will also contribute a strategic geopolitical lens to supplier intelligence workflows, flexing across functions as needed .

You will:

You will:

• Lead production of geopolitical intelligence products — including 24-48-hour Rapid I&W Alerts, 10-day Detailed Impact Assessments, and Quarterly Scenario Evolution reviews — translating geopolitical events into Dell-specific supply chain exposure
• Manage the I&W indicator lifecycle: generate, refresh, and retire indicators; scan curated sources for matches across indicator categories
• Conduct impact analysis connecting geopolitical developments to concrete consequences for Dell's procurement, manufacturing, and logistics operations
• Brief senior stakeholders verbally and in writing, leading with conclusions and tailoring to audience
• Support supplier intelligence workflows by contributing macro geopolitical context to cross-functional products and surge capacity

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in geopolitical analysis, intelligence analysis, or a closely related field (e.g., government intelligence, political risk consulting, national security policy)
• Demonstrated command of indicators and warnings (I&W) methodology and scenario analysis
• Proven ability to produce high-quality written intelligence products under deadline pressure (24-hour and 10-day turnaround cycles)
• Strong executive communication skills with experience briefing senior leaders
• Comfort with ambiguity, rapid topic-switching, and self-directed work; fluency with AI tools and agentic workflows

Desirable Requirements

• Graduate degree in international relations, security studies, political science, or a related field
• Regional expertise in areas of strategic relevance to global technology supply chains (e.g., China/Taiwan, Southeast Asia)
