Supply Chain Planning Senior Advisor

Our role also includes leading contract negotiations, managing risk, driving cost-saving initiatives, and implementing strategic sourcing best practices.

What you’ll achieve:

As a Supply Chain Planning Sr Advisor, you will drive long-range sourcing guidance and planning strategies to enable supplier alignment, strengthen supply continuity, and enhance Dell’s competitive advantage for Asia Pacific Japan & Greater China region. You will operate at the intersection of planning, sourcing, and execution, using data-driven insights to influence global supply chain decisions and improve operational performance.

You will:

• Develop long-range demand and sourcing guidance while defining commodity strategies that balance cost, availability, and risk
• Partners with Product Group, Product Operations, Procurement, and Global Planning to align and execute planning strategies
• Manage Market Commodity long range sourcing guidance strategy with Global Commodity planning & procurement team; responsible for Demand Sensing, Supply Planning, Transition Planning, Risk mitigation & Supply chain operations Orchestration
• Serve as the Business owner to organization leader on Commodity level Supportability, Demand Sensing, transition planning, and other performance measurements
• Serve as the Primary interface with stakeholders as organizational POC for designated commodity, leading commodity transition planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, finance, or related fields
• Strong business and financial acumen with advanced data modeling skills (e.g., Excel, analytics tools)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with structured thinking
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in program management and cross-functional leadership, knowledge of forecasting methodologies, predictive analytics, risk mitigation, and supply chain processes and familiarity with order management, fulfillment concepts, and end-to-end supply chain operations
