A key enabler to THP’s strategic plan is data and analytics. The Performance and Business Intelligence portfolio, in collaboration with stakeholders across THP, will design, architect, govern and deploy high quality data and analytics, to support strategic performance insights and planning to enable THP’s mission of ‘A New Kind of Health Care for a Healthier Community’. Building upon several key achievements, this portfolio will continue to advance the development of an enterprise health data strategy and roadmap. The Performance and Business Intelligence is made up of the Performance Analytics and Case Costing, the Business Planning Office, and the Business Intelligence Department.
The Performance Analytics mandate is the timely innovative delivery of accurate and actionable data and insights to drive decision-making, meet regulatory commitments and to support the delivery of quality, accessible and sustainable patient care. Working collaboratively with our partners within and outside THP to transform data into strategic, tactical and operational insight to drive decision-making and deliver efficient and high-quality care to our patients.
Reporting to the Manager of Performance Analytics and working closely with the Integrate and Primary Care office; a program supporting patients in their own home by providing customized professional services and equipment; Integrated community registries enable a more connected health system by bringing together data across primary care, hospital, home care, and community partners. This allows care teams to proactively identify patient needs, coordinate services, and deliver the right care in the right place—ultimately improving access, outcomes, and patient experience. The Performance Analytics Senior Advisor, will be a key player in THP’s strategy to address hospital capacity pressures by expanding integrated hospital to home care. Integrated hospital to home care is at the cutting edge of health system innovation in Ontario and has been demonstrated around the world as a health system best-practice.
Your primary role will involve analyzing health data, identifying trends and patterns. You possess a strong work ethic and a passion for advancing healthcare through developing and reporting clinical, quality and population health Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); interpreting, visualizing, and presenting findings; developing statistical models to benchmark performance.
