Senior Advisor, Commodity Management

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Advisor, Commodity Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commodity and supplier strategies that support forecasted business needs, optimize cost, and improve supply continuity. You will work with suppliers and cross-functional business partners on technology roadmap alignment, commercial negotiations, and supply chain optimization initiatives that drive business performance.

You will:

• Develop and implement plans to support forecasted supplier and commodity needs
• Drive alignment between supplier roadmaps and Dell line of business roadmaps
• Negotiate product cost, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve optimal pricing and value
• Monitor supplier scorecard performance and drive improvements through monthly reporting and corrective actions
• Identify and implement opportunities for supply chain optimization and supplier capability advancement

Essential Requirements

• Ability to manage complex partner relationships
• Clear executive communication skills
• Strong experience influencing leaders and stakeholders
• Proven ability to negotiate large-scale agreements
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in a global technology, hardware, or manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements

• Advanced degree or professional certification in supply chain, procurement, or business
• 5+ years of Procurement experience

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is USD $102,400 - USD $140,800.
