Support the systems, processes and relationships that enable effective Cabinet decision-making across the NSW Government.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of executive government, supporting Cabinet and Committee operations that contribute to informed, timely and effective decision-making.
As Senior Advisor, Cabinet, you will lead assigned areas of Cabinet operations, policy and project work. You will coordinate Cabinet proposals and meetings, critically review submissions, provide advice on Cabinet practice and ensure sensitive information is managed accurately, securely and within demanding timeframes.
You will also lead projects to improve Cabinet processes and operations, support the effective use of eCabinet, and develop and deliver presentations and training for staff across government agencies. Working closely with ministerial offices, senior executives and Cabinet liaison staff, you will build trusted relationships and help stakeholders navigate Cabinet requirements with confidence.
This role offers a rare opportunity to gain exposure to complex government decision-making, work on high-profile initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement across Cabinet systems and processes.
You will join the Cabinet team within the Office of General Counsel at The Cabinet Office, working in a high-performing environment that values sound judgement, collaboration, integrity and high-quality advice.

The Cabinet team plays a critical role in supporting the effective operation of Cabinet and Cabinet Committees across the NSW Government.
The team provides expert advice on Cabinet processes and conventions, supports the secure management of Cabinet information, coordinates Cabinet business and drives continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement, training and digital systems such as eCabinet.
Working across ministerial offices, departments and agencies, the team helps ensure Cabinet decision-making is supported by high-quality processes, advice and governance.
