Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a Senior Advisor – Asset Management to join our Business Advisory – Asset Management team in Sydney.
In this role, you’ll help asset-intensive organisations improve performance, reliability and operational readiness across critical sectors including energy, infrastructure, water and manufacturing.
You’ll also bring a collaborative approach and mentoring mindset to support the continued growth of GHD’s Asset Management advisory capability.
Working with a high-performing Business Advisory team, you will support clients with strategic advice across areas such as:
- Advising clients across energy, mining, manufacturing and resources on practical asset management and business improvement opportunities.
- Bringing together data, systems thinking and commercial judgement to guide stronger asset and infrastructure decisions.
- Working closely with clients to understand their priorities, identify opportunities and build trusted advisory partnerships.
- Turning complex challenges into clear, commercially sound advice that supports confident decisions and lasting outcomes.
- Shaping asset management strategies, maturity reviews, business cases, operating model improvements and practical roadmaps for change.
- Supporting proposals, pursuits and market activity that help grow GHD’s Business Advisory offering.
What you will bring to the team:
- Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business, Innovation or a related discipline.
- Experience advising clients in asset-intensive sectors such as energy, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing or resources.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering, asset management strategy and performance improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear commercial insights.
- Exposure to operational readiness, care and maintenance, or decarbonisation advisory.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on client value and outcomes.
- Knowledge of asset management frameworks and industry-leading practices.
This role will suit someone with a strong advisory mindset who enjoys building client relationships, contributing to growth and mentoring others.
Experience in a Big 4 or professional services advisory environment will be highly regarded.
