Encor by EPCOR is hiring a Senior Advisor, Acquisition Marketing for a fulltime, permanent role based in Edmonton This position is eligible to participate in EPCOR’s Where We Work hybrid program, subject to business needs and eligibility requirements.

The Senior Advisor, Acquisition Marketing plays a key role in growing the Encor brand by developing and executing customer acquisition strategies that drive awareness,engagement, and sales. As a trusted marketing professional, you will have the opportunity to shape integrated marketing campaigns, influence the customer journey, work closely with agency and creative partners, and contribute directly to Encor's growth objectives.Working across traditional, digital, social, emerging media, and event-based marketing, you will bring campaigns to life through compelling customer experiences, data-driven decision making, and strong brand stewardship.

What you’d be responsible for

Reporting to the Manager, Encor Marketing, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Developing and executing annual acquisition marketing plans that support Encor's growth, customer acquisition, product development, and customer experience goals.
  • Leading campaign and market analytics activities, continuously monitoring performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and making recommendations to improve short and long-term results.
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with advertising agencies, designers, vendors, and creative partners to deliver effective customer acquisition campaigns while optimizing available resources and sales channels.
  • Identifying and recommending budget requirements needed to support acquisition marketing initiatives and growth objectives.
  • Enhancing and monitoring the pre-sale customer journey to help create a simple and seamless path to becoming an Encor customer.
  • Developing and delivering acquisition marketing campaigns across traditional, digital, social, emerging media, and event-based channels.
  • Planning and executing prospect-focused events that generate awareness, interest, and affinity for the Encor brand.
  • Serving as a brand steward by maintaining brand consistency and identifying opportunities to strengthen and evolve the Encor brand.
  • Collaborating with customer service teams to support awareness and understanding of new products, programs, and promotions while promoting a seamless customer experience.
  • Contributing to social media editorial planning and content initiatives that support acquisition campaign objectives.
  • Supporting business development initiatives requiring market insight, competitive awareness, and customer acquisition expertise.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing marketing processes and practices to ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management expectations.
  • Providing marketing recommendations and insights that align with departmental priorities and business objectives

What’s required to be successful

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline

Experience that includes

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, customer acquisition, campaign management, brand management, or related disciplines
  • Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple media channels.
  • Managing agency and vendor relationships to deliver marketing initiatives and business results.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and making recommendations to optimize results.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of acquisition marketing across traditional, digital, social, and emerging media channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret campaign performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing plans, campaign strategies, and performance reports.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including content development, editing, and presentation preparation.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple initiatives, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience principles and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Advanced attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Hours of work: 80 hours biweekly

Wage: Starting at $5392 (Final Wage and Step will be determined at the time of selection and based on a combination of factors as outlined in the Collective Agreement)
