Job Description

The Senior Advancement Coordinator is a position primarily responsible for providing administrative support for the Vice President of Campaigns and Administration that includes scheduling; processing of expense reporting and budget tracking; communication coordination; data and project management support; presentation support; and other administrative duties as determined by the Vice President. This position will work with other departments within Advancement and other departments throughout the university.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and keep projects on task meeting and exceeding timeline expectations.

• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

• Strong organizational skills, time management and ability to multitask and prioritize projects.

• Ability to develop strong interpersonal relations.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through with projects.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma and 3 years of related/transferable experience; or Bachelor’s Degree

• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of university fundraising.
