WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Role:
We are seeking a talented Senior Advance Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team as a permanent position. We are looking for an experienced quality professional with a strong manufacturing background, structured problem-solving and detail oriented. Ideally, this individual has previous experience with pumping, hydraulic, electromechanical or related products. This role will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Execute and support quality strategy across all NPI phases (concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, MP ramp).
Apply standardized advanced quality methodologies to ensure product requirements are complete, consistent, and traceable across programs, leveraging lessons learned between projects.
Lead and execute DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Validation, and APQP deliverables for assigned programs.
Support early identification, escalation, and mitigation of product, process, and supplier risks.
Partner with Engineering to define, review, and verify critical-to-quality (CTQ) characteristics for thermal, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
Apply structured quality and reliability practices, including DFSS principles, within the NPI process.
WHO YOU ARE:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
Strong technical understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and electromechanical systems.
5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting NPI quality activities for complex products.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with APQP methodologies including PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.
Hands-on experience with new product and process validation activities.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
Experience with liquid cooling systems, pumping systems, hydraulic assemblies, or similar products.
