Background
The Senior Administrator will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support for the prestigious HYPERMARKER research project, in addition to offering dedicated PA support to the Lead Investigator.
This position will be embedded within the Research Delivery Team, part of the Research Knowledge and Transfer Office at the College of Medicine and Health, contributing to the smooth operation and success of the project.
The post holder will work closely with the HYPERMARKER research team and receive day-to-day guidance and supervision, ensuring all administrative aspects are managed efficiently to support the team’s objectives and research outputs. This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, research-driven environment and is committed to supporting cutting-edge medical research.
The HYPERMARKER project is using AI to help clinical staff find the best treatment for high blood pressure. It looks at data from patients across Europe to predict how well different medicines will work for each person. This personalised approach aims to make treatment more effective and prevent serious health problems like heart attacks and stroke.
As a senior administrator within a team/department you will provide support for a broad range of administrative duties, some of which may be complex. You may also be responsible for managing other staff or for supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge. You will be able to use your wide range of skills, both technical and administrative, and have the opportunity to lead on specific tasks within a team. In order to flexibly use resource you may be given the opportunity to work in different areas of the department or wider University.
Senior Administrators may work in any area of the University; with large groupings in HR, Finance, and School/College Hubs.
