The County of Riverside’s University Health System-Behavioral Health is recruiting a Senior Administrative Services Analyst in Riverside. This role entails conducting cost analyses for hospital services and goods, presenting findings to leadership, verifying prices on contracted items, and discovering cost-saving opportunities with vendors. This position demands effective communication with executive management, program staff, vendors, and external partners in a professional administrative/office setting. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, monitoring grant-related activities, coordinating fiscal documentation, and providing operational support to ensure the efficient delivery of departmental services and programs.
The most competitive candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience working within a health system.
The Senior Administrative Services Analyst serves as the lead classification in the Administrative Services Analyst series and reports to an administrative or executive manager. This role differs from the Administrative Services Analyst II as it functions in a lead capacity for administrative services for a division or unit within a department.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in accounting, business or public administration, finance, or a closely related field to the assignment. (Administrative, paraprofessional, or technical experience may substitute for the required education on the basis of one year of full-time experience equaling 30 semester or 45 quarter units of the required education.)
Experience: One year of professional experience in an administrative capacity, which must be at journey level.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in accounting, business or public administration, finance, or a closely related field to the assignment. (Administrative, paraprofessional, or technical experience may substitute for the required education on the basis of one year of full-time experience equaling 30 semester or 45 quarter units of the required education.)
Experience: Two years of paraprofessional or technical experience in an administrative capacity, which must include a minimum of one year of journey level experience.
Knowledge of: Principles of administration, organization and management to analyze operations, services and programs; budgetary and contract monitoring.
Ability to: Analyze and collect data through a variety of complex systems; gather and compile facts and statistics; evaluate program effectiveness; recommend program revisions; conduct studies of administrative and operational activities; evaluate program problems and provide solutions; monitor budgetary expenses.

License: Possession of a valid California Driver's License may be required.
