Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Design and optimize components for additive manufacturing using DfAM principles.
  • Develop, validate, and improve additive manufacturing processes to achieve quality, productivity, and cost targets.
  • Select, qualify, and evaluate printing materials, including metals and advanced alloys.
  • Plan and execute build jobs while troubleshooting machine, material, and process-related issues.
  • Support qualification, inspection, validation, and certification activities to ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, machine utilization, throughput, and process capability.
  • Evaluate emerging additive manufacturing technologies, materials, and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders to implement additive manufacturing solutions.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), cost reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on additive manufacturing technologies and applications.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Product Development.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial additive manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies such as DMLS/SLM, FDM, SLA, SLS, Binder Jetting, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or CATIA.
  • Experience with DfAM, GD&T, engineering drawings, process validation, and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with metal additive manufacturing processes and materials such as Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium, or Aluminum alloys.
  • Knowledge of topology optimization, generative design, and build simulation.
  • Experience with DOE, process capability studies, and manufacturing process qualification.
  • Additive Manufacturing Certification (ASTM/SME), Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or PMP certification.
  • Experience in valve, oil & gas, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems and regulated manufacturing environments.
