Job Overview:

Seeking a meticulous and responsible Accounts Executive to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions for our growing business in the building materials and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting the company's daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Full Set of Accounts:

- Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable,Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.

- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Cash & Banking:

- Prepare bank reconciliations.

- Monitor cash flow and daily banking transactions.

- Assist in cash flow forecasting.

GST & Statutory Compliance

- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.

- Ensure compliance with IRAS regulations and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

- Assist in annual audit and tax matters by liaising with external auditors and tax agents.

Administration & Reporting:

- Prepare management reports and financial analysis.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.

- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

- Support other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.

- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

- Experience in handling Full Set of Accounts independently is essential.

- Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

- Familiar with GST regulations and IRAS requirements.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

- Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage UBS, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Oracle NetSuite will be advantageous.

Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm
