Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a Senior Accounting, Tax and Reporting Manager in São Paulo - Brazil to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. This is a highly visible, challenging, hands-on, dynamic and wide-ranging role covering activities such as leading the local financial, tax and reporting team, leading the monthly closing processes and managing the external IFRS audit process. The Senior Accounting, Tax and Reporting Manager owns the day-to-day management of reporting, accounting and controlling of Brazil.

The position is a key resource in the Finance team and will report to the VP Finance & Asset Management in Brazil.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Brazil finance and accounting team (+15 employees), ensuring performance, development, collaboration, and strong governance across all finance processes.
  • Oversee statutory and tax reporting (BR GAAP, IFRS, direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing) and ensure full compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage monthly group reporting, period-end closing, audited and unaudited financial statements, and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Provide technical accounting assessments and guidance on complex transactions and agreements.
  • Lead tax planning, compliance, transfer pricing governance, tax reform implementation, and drive optimization opportunities aligned with company strategy.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, Board reporting, treasury management, intercompany transactions, and regulatory approvals.
  • Coordinate external and tax audits, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder management.
  • Oversee ERP governance, system improvements, localization, process documentation, and provide support on ad-hoc financial matters.

Qualifications and competencies

  • University level degree, preferably with specialization in Finance, Accounting.
  • Comprehensive excel skills.
  • Brazilian CPA is advantage.
  • English and portuguese language skills (Fluent written & Spoken English).
  • Dynamics 365 or alternative ERP system experience.
  • +10 years of experience within finance, accounting, tax, and controlling.
  • Big 4-experience.
