Senior Accounting Specialist, Record to Report

We are now looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist, Record to Report, to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia


You will contribute to high-quality, standardized accounting execution, working within defined processes and controls, while gaining exposure to end-to-end finance operations in a global environment.


This position is ideal for professionals with approximately 5+ years of relevant experience who are ready to take on greater responsibility and provide coaching in accounting, systems, and finance processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Independently execute complex accounting and reporting activities, including general accounting, journal entries, entity closing, fixed and leased asset accounting, intercompany accounting, indirect tax reporting

  • Perform group‑level reporting

  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency of accounting outputs in line with IFRS accounting standards, and SLAs and KPIs

  • Prepare and review reconciliations, analysis and supporting documentation

  • Support internal and external audits

  • Collaborate closely with team members and other Finance Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Coach and support Accounting Specialists in daily work to strengthen capability and delivery

  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to process standardization and efficiency initiatives

  • Work with finance systems (e.g., SAP, Group reporting system) and related tools and utilize their usage to increase efficiency.


Required Skills, competences, and experience

  • Education in Accounting, Finance or a similar field

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience within financial accounting, including general ledger accounting and financial reporting

  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes with strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)

  • Proficiency in ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Group reporting system)

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Proactive problem‑solving mindset with a customer‑focused approach

  • Strong communication skills and ability to guide and support team members
