Senior Accounting & Finance Officer
Our client is a large-scale physical retail mall managed like a startup as it reinvents and reborns into an entirely new concept. They have redefined their retail with a "Fit by Day, Fun by Night" concept, offering a unique blend of stores, restaurants, and fitness establishments in a sprawling 180,000 sqm space.

We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting & Finance Officer. Responsibilities

• Verify the payment documents before preparing the cheque

• Ensure that all payments are completeness and correctness and relevant to the company rules and regulations

• Prepare VAT and Withholding tax reports and forms to the Revenue Department, including reconciliation

• Prepare documents for purchase and sales, tax invoices, including withholding tax certificate.

• Check the completeness and correctness of recording monthly income and expenses.

• Prepare daily documents and coordinate with relevant departments.

• Process accounts payable and receivable

• Keep updated data entry

• Monitor daily bank balance

• Responsible for daily payment and receipts and the bank pay-in as well

• Issue invoice, tax invoice, receipt, and debit/credit note for the customer.

• Submit monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets

• Participate in the Financial statement closing process with an auditor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3 5 years of working experience in the Accounting area, CPD is preferred

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations (GAAP, IFRS)

• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Leadership abilities to mentor and supervise junior staff

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

• Problem-solving skills to address financial challenges

• High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial transactions

• Willingness to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and industry trends
