Own delivery of accurate and timely accounting and financial close for assigned countries in accordance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting timetables
Ensure integrity, completeness, and accuracy of financial records, trial balances, and statutory accounts
Perform and lead detailed reviews of accounts, trial balances, and balance sheet reconciliations, including preparation of draft variance commentary in OneStream
Prepare and review local statutory accounts and required statistical reporting
Act as primary point of contact for group, statutory, and tax audits; lead audit preparation, respond to queries, and resolve findings
Execute and oversee complex accounting activities, including accrual calculations, estimates, and judgment-based postings
Perform Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Deferred Tax (DT) processes in line with the tax manual and applicable regulations
Ensure effective execution of internal controls and review controls performed by junior team members
Initiate tax and dividend payment requests in accordance with governance and authorization frameworks
Prepare ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders
Prepare, maintain, and review process documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and knowledge continuity
Lead mentoring, onboarding, and training of team members; provide functional guidance and quality reviews
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and proactively identify risks, control gaps, and efficiency opportunities
Collaborate closely with colleagues across GBS, the wider Finance organization, and internal and external stakeholders
Deputies for the Manager when required, ensuring continuity of delivery, controls, and decision-making
What Are We Looking For?
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage
7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial control, or statutory reporting
Strong experience in entity-level accounting, statutory reporting processes, audits, and tax processes (CIT and DT), preferably within a multi-country or centralized finance environment
Strong IFRS foundation with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply local statutory requirements within a controlled governance framework
Experience with ERP systems and consolidation/reporting tools (e.g., OneStream)
Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical capability
Ability to apply sound professional judgment to complex accounting and control matters
Strong command of English (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate clearly with global stakeholders and produce professional documentation.
Experience working in a shared services, centralized finance, or multinational environment is an advantage.
