The Senior Accounting Analyst reports to the Head of Consolidation and Reporting and supports the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant group accounting and reporting, ensuring high-quality financial information to support decision-making.

The role supports the Finance Transformation programme by assisting the Head of Consolidation and Reporting in coordinating key initiatives, including system implementations, UAT cycles, and training activities for Finance teams, while providing sound technical accounting guidance and well-founded recommendations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in financial reporting, combined with advanced technical expertise in financial systems and data tools, and well-developed analytical capabilities to interpret and translate financial data into meaningful insights.

Purpose

Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in financial accounting
  • Experience in consolidation processes.
  • Strong technical ability to work with various financial systems and applications
  • Experience in SAP and Hyperion (HFM) desirable
  • Excellent Excel, analytical, and data skills

Personal Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear manner.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Key Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills to manage challenges in financial processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high levels of accuracy.

  • Fluent in English

Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong experience with financial systems and data tools (Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Experience in audit Big-4 company would be highly valued
