The Role: As a GL Accountant, you will serve as a primary liaison between the supervised unit, auditors, and various internal and external stakeholders. Your role involves offering expert commercial advice while ensuring adherence to all applicable accounting regulations. Key duties encompass the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, oversight of general ledger accounting activities, management of accounts receivable (including payment posting, reminders, and credit verification), contributing to liquidity planning efforts, and aiding in cash management procedures. You will also play a crucial role in the development and analysis of financial metrics for monthly treasury reports.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in business administration (degree or equivalent) coupled with expertise in financial accounting regulations in Germany and IFRS accounting principles. Experience preparing individual financial statements is highly desired. We value candidates with a proven track record in industrial companies, proficiency in SAP R/3 (FI module), excellent analytical abilities, a proactive approach, and a well-organized work ethic. Strong MS Office skills, assertiveness, coordination abilities, and exceptional communication skills are crucial, as is fluency in both German and English.
