The Opportunity

This is a career-defining opportunity for an accounting professional ready to step into a role with genuine influence. You'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, work directly alongside Partners on advisory-led engagements, and help drive the strategic direction of our Melbourne practice.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
• Mentor and train staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
• Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory services and solutions to add long-term value
• Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
• Help provide exceptional service to our clients

About You:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
• Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
• Expertise using accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
• A confident leader and mentor, ready to take ownership of client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our Melbourne office
